Code of Conduct
Attend meetings consistently.
Regular participation is how a team becomes a team. If work, family, or transportation affects your availability, tell a coach early.
Show your best side.
Be friendly and courteous. Use clean language. Practice humility. Say "I don't know" and "I was wrong" when they're true. Leave school and politics at the door.
Make yourself useful.
See what needs doing and do it. If you cannot find the next task, ask. When in doubt, put tools away, sort parts, clean up scraps.
Mean what you say.
Let your "yes" be yes, your "no" be no, and your "maybe" have a clear reason. Be dependable so teammates can plan around your commitments.
Find the root cause before casting blame.
"My part works" is a hypothesis to test. Ask what happened and where our assumptions disagreed.
Own your mistakes.
"I forgot." "I miscounted." "I dropped it." Report the mistake, correct what you can, and help prevent it from happening again.
Ambition needs discipline.
Big ideas require a scope, a deadline, and a fallback. "Trust me, I'll get it done" is not a plan.
Respect runs both ways.
Treat everyone with respect. Learn people's names, share what you know, and lead by example.
Leave room for others.
Match your volume to the room. Allow silence between comments.
Keep robotics first.
Phones are for build references and build photos, not entertainment.
